Tomoo Gokita
Born in Tokyo in 1969, he attracted attention in the 1990s with his drawings, and published his first collection, Lingerie Wrestling, in 2000. Starting with an exhibition in New York, he has held solo exhibitions at the Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum, Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery, and Dallas Contemporary. He is also the artist who gave him the impetus to start loosejoints.
