This nep tweed is from Oshu. The nep yarn accents create a classic, mixed texture. Its unique processing achieves excellent shape retention, firmness, and a natural surface finish. Using finer yarns, we've woven a tightly woven gabardine to men's standards. Special processing steps, including off-scale processing (removing the scale-like features on the surface of the yarn, allowing the dye to penetrate more deeply into the yarn and increasing the intensity of the black) and impregnation processing (soaking the yarn in a resin-like liquid to create a crisp, paper-like texture), give the material a firm, rigid texture. It features a relaxed silhouette. It pairs well with slacks made from the same material, as well as casual items like denim.
